Some houses welcome you. Others leave you with a feeling that something has been taken from you, and you cannot quite say why. That difference never shows in a photograph, and you feel it every day. I design new homes so they give generously.

Approach
If you think architecture is about drawings and permits, you have missed the point. It is about who you become in the space around you.
Picture a morning five years from now. You wake in a room where the light comes from the right side, you open a window and the air is fresh without switching anything on, you step barefoot onto a floor that feels cosy. None of that is accidental. All of it is decided in the first few weeks, while the sketching is still going on.
How I work
The east gives a gentle morning, the south the strength of full sun, the west an easy evening, and the north a calm and even light all day. How the rooms are arranged in relation to those sides decides how your day passes in that house. Once the house stands, its orientation cannot be changed.
Freshness comes from the right layout, the right dimensions of rooms and openings, and the choice of materials. When that is settled, the house ventilates itself almost on its own.
What breathes naturally does not release harmful substances. Healthy for the person living there, not only “green” on paper.
Energy comes with two bills. One arrives by post, the other you feel the moment you step inside: a house that holds heat and light well feels alive, and one that leaks them feels tired.
Both are written while the design is still on the table.
Who designs
The houses I drew at the beginning now have full-grown trees in their gardens. In the first conversations a house is spoken of as the life that will take place inside it. And that is where most of what later becomes a healthy, comfortable home is decided.
Licensed architect, Croatian Chamber of Architects, registration no. 4557. Studio in Zagreb, with long-standing consultants across the engineering disciplines. I lead every project personally, from the first sketch to the occupancy permit.
I completed the Maharishi Sthapatya Veda Architects Training Course (Maharishi Vedic Institute, Kathmandu, 2023). On request, the studio designs to Maharishi Vastu for new buildings, through the regular MVA consultancy process.
The design work itself stays handwork. Paperwork, checks and follow-up are carried by automation. That is why a small office can run eight projects without any of them waiting.
The course of it
An hour, with no obligation. We talk about how you live, what bothers you in your present home and how you picture the next one. If you have a plot, we look at it together; if you do not, I help you choose one.
The first drawings and the decisions that carry everything else: where the house sits, how it is turned, how you move through it. This is the stage where most changes happen, and where they are easiest.
The design is developed to the level at which construction can begin, together with consultants across the disciplines. What exactly is required depends on the size and location of the house, and you know that from the start, not along the way. I carry it through and keep you posted even when there is no news.
I am there as much as you need, until you move in.

Capacity
That is how many projects I can deliver in full. A ninth would mean somebody receives less than they paid for, and I want that neither for them nor for myself.
Slots for 2027 open in autumn. If you are only beginning to plan, write now rather than once everything is arranged. You do not need to own a plot yet. Sometimes it is better if you have not chosen one, because choosing the plot is the first decision that determines what kind of house can stand on it at all, and it is where most mistakes are made.
